- Collaborators & roles
Need help building a hub? Invite collaborators with a role. This page covers invites, what each role typically can do, and how someone accepts—without mixing collaboration with paid access.
Primary action: Open the hub → Access / members → invite.
Collaborators vs buyers
- Collaborators are invited into the hub with a role (build, edit, comment, or view as assigned).
- Buyers / members via paywall get paid (or trial) access through monetization. That is not the same as a collab invite.
Don’t invite a purchaser as OWNER just to “give them access.” Buyers: Buying & access. Creators charging: Turn on paid access.
Limits
Unlimited collaborators on Free and Growth. See Plans for hub and upload capacity—not collaborator caps.
Roles
Typical access (confirm details in the app UI for your hub):
| Role | Typical access |
|---|---|
OWNER | Full control—settings, monetization, invites, content |
ADMIN | Broad management (often General, Access, and content). Monetization / Storefront usually stay with Owner |
WRITE | Add and reorder content (uploads, tree) |
COMMENT | Comment-level participation without changing contents (as product allows) |
READ | View hub content as a collaborator |
Rough settings map: Monetization / Storefront skew OWNER; General / Access for OWNER + ADMIN; Content for OWNER / ADMIN / WRITE.
How to invite
